I never thought I would be, but I am extremely picky about the clothes I will put on my 15 month old boy.  I don't like dinosaurs, football, soccer, any reptiles, too cutesy stuff or too feminine things.  I have 2 older girls and finding something cute for them has been way too easy!  In fact, when I go shopping for something for me or my son, I usually end up buying something for my 4 year old instead because it is just too cute to pass up!

The illustrations and colors in this book are amazing!  What I really LOVE about this book is the variety of activities included.  There are crafts, story starters, poetry, quizzes, drawing, activities and more.  Whether you have 2 minutes or 2 hours to spend with nature, you can find an activity.  This book really engages girls and gets them involved in nature.  I highly recommend this book to all girls, city or country dwelling. 

Great job American Girl on another awesome book!  American Girl celebrates a girl's inner star - that little whisper inside that encourages her to stand tall, reach high, and dream big. They take pride and care in helping girls become their very best today, so they'll grow up to be the women who make a difference tomorrow.

American Girl Book - Just Dad and Me - Review and Giveaway

Looking for fun things to do with Dad?  From car games to contests to secret handshakes, this book is full of fun things for girls to do with their dads. They can punch out the paper airplanes and helicopters, tear out and share the notes and gift coupons, or test their knowledge of each other with checklists made for two. And they can get to know each other even better with games and activities that are sure to leave them laughing.

My 10 year old daughter and her dad really enjoyed sharing this book together and getting to know each other better.  One of their favorite activities was the "Tunes for Two", where they burned a CD of songs that they both liked.  The book even includes two tear out CD Covers.  There are tons of activities to do in this book and vary greatly on subject and time needed to complete so it's easy to find an activity in here for everyone!  It will definitely take more than just one weekend to complete this book.  I highly recommend this book for girls and their dads.  The recommended age is 8+ but there are activities in here even my 4 year old enjoyed doing with her dad.
